Lifts your cheeks to their original position.
We begin to see those age-related changes in the mid-face during our thirties. You may notice your eyes look hollow and your cheeks are looking sunken. Marionette lines start to become deeper as nasolabial folds become more noticeable. You may develop an angry look as the muscle between your eyes changes. Overall – you’re not happy with what you see when you look into the mirror. You’re not ready for those premature signs of aging – which are most noticeable in the face first. If you want to address these issues – without having a full-blown facelift – a mid-facelift may be the right choice for you and is a cosmetic procedure offered at The Choe Center in Virginia Beach, VA. We have also included in our readers’ section to the right a listing of some typical procedures clients have performed by Dr. Choe in addition to their mid-facelift
- Mid-Facelift is safe, effective and subtle
- Targets specific areas of concern
- Results are more permanent than injectables
- Restores a more refreshed – rejuvenated look!
Complementary Procedures: Endoscopic Brow lift, Eyelid Lift, Cheek Implants
Mid Face Lift Frequently Asked Questions:
Should I have a Mid-Facelift or a Face Lift?
If you are mainly concerned about the changes in your mid-face and don’t want the downtime experienced with a full-blown facelift – you should consider a Mid-Facelift. The beauty of a Mid-Facelift is that it allows us to “target” specific areas of concern with less healing and downtime.
How long will I be out of work?
You should be presentable to return to work within 2-3 weeks – even if you combine your Mid-Facelift with an Endoscopic Brow lift which most of our clients like to do for maximum overall results.
Is there much pain with a Mid-Facelift?
No. You will experience some “discomfort” rather than pain. This is easily managed with oral pain medication and elevation of the head.
Can I combine other facial procedures with a Mid-Facelift?
Yes. Patients usually combine the lift with an Endo Brow lift, Cheek Implants or injectables with their Mid-Facelift.
Why is there less bruising and healing time with a Mid-Facelift?
Dr. Choe will make “smaller incisions” (endoscopically) and less muscle tightening is done – less tissue is disturbed – so bruising is much less and healing can occur faster.
