MINT Tread Lift

MINT Tread Lift LogoIn the last few years, the medical field has excelled and advanced in many ways. The cosmetic medical field is no exception and has developed new and advanced technology that has assisted patients. The face is one part of the body that can tell others our age and have an impact on many aspects of our lives. Improving the youthfulness of the face is a desire that many individuals have. This can influence self-esteem and confidence which can influence our careers and love lives. There are many cosmetic procedures that will make the face appear more youthful and rejuvenated. A new minimally invasive way to correct the aging signs on the face has been developed and approved for use. MINT or minimally invasive non-surgical tread lifting is a great new procedure that can remove the tired and aged appearance of the face in a minimally invasive way.

MINT lift concentrates on creating natural looking results while still penetrating the deep layers of the facial skin. The sagging of skin and wrinkles that makes everyone appear tired can be helped by concentrating on the mid-facial layer of the skin. The procedure is simple and can allow the face to be re-contoured by lifting the deep layers.

MINT Lift Candidates

Determining if MINT Lift is right for you is easy when you schedule an office consultation. Dr. Choe and his staff will explain and discuss the technique to ensure that you are comfortable and fully understand all aspects of it. Dr. Choe will also determine if you are a good candidate for the procedure based on your needs, and physical and mental health. Patients who may not be a good candidate are those who have soft and thin facial tissue with very little volume. The skin will have to be of a normal thickness so that the tread is not visible through it. If the patient has a history of allergic reactions to biomaterial that is Polydioxanone (PDO), he or she may also not be a good candidate for the procedure. It is important that all allergies have been discussed and that the patient does not have any current infections prior to the procedure.

MINT LIFT Procedure

The procedure involves utilizing bidirectional treads that can reposition the facial skin. The treads have a unique anchoring 360 degree surface. This allows the subcutaneous tissue to be anchored to the bidirectional treads and have numerous anchoring points to attach to. The lift is made out of a biomedical copolymer that is safe for the body. The Polydioxanone (PDO) is known to be well tolerated in the body. It has also found to be reabsorbed by the body while breaking down the sutures. The MINT Lift will be implanted into the facial area in the cheek/neck/brow vicinity. The collagen production will continue to grow and increase over time. The volume of the face will be restored and the facial lines will become more defined with the assistance of the implant. The results will continue to improve over time and throughout the healing process. A great benefit of this minimally invasive procedure is that it is performed in an office setting, and typically lasts forty-five minutes to an hour. A local anesthesia will be administered to the patient prior to the procedure beginning.

MINT Lift Recovery Time

After the MINT Lift procedure has been completed, some patients will experience bruising and minor pain. The area may also be sensitive and sore for approximately one to two weeks. These symptoms will go away as the face begins to heal. A rare side effect after the procedure has been completed includes sensory nerve injury and banding but these are very rare.

MINT Lift Results

The results of this minimally invasive procedure will be instantaneous and immediately observed! The recovery time after the procedure is very minimal and the patient will heal quickly. The sutures that are utilized to hold the skin in place will naturally be absorbed by the body and will increase the collagen production that takes place. This minimally invasive procedure will allow for the cheek/neck/brow sub dermis layer to remain elevated and suspended creating a youthful look that has removed lines, wrinkles, and signs of aging.
